How to eat less food


The physical component of optimum health comes from the consumption of healthy food and the habit of appropriate exercise. Eating nutritious foods coupled with regular physical exercise improve overall health and wellness.

Explore the benefits of eating less, playing more and you will achieve what is required to sustain optimum health. There is need here to emphasize how each of us is different and unique. 


This is called the principle of bio-individuality. Meaning that, the best specific biological balance is unique to each individual. There is not an one-size-fits-all food intake.

Eating less and playing more vary from one individual to another with respect to factors such as age, gender, culture, and physical activity level. Be careful not to sacrifice quality of food as you reduce the quantity of food you eat; eating quality food is essential for optimal nutrition and good health.

  • Notice how much food you need rather than want, in order to feel comfortably full
  • Distinguish between hunger for food and being thirsty because most often thirstiness masked itself as hunger
